PingMe lets you capture a thought in seconds — record a voice note or type a message — and send it straight to where you'll see it later: your email inbox, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, or the clipboard.
Tap the microphone button on the home screen and start talking. When you stop, PingMe transcribes your speech to text automatically, so you can review or edit it before sending.
Microphone access is needed only to record your voice notes. Recording only happens while you are actively using the record button — never in the background. If you denied the permission, you can re-enable it in your device Settings under PingMe.
Transcription needs an internet connection, as the audio is converted to text by a secure online service. Check that you're online and try again. If it keeps failing, you can still type your message manually.
Open Settings and enter your email (SMTP) details and the recipient address. Once configured, choose Email as the destination when sending a capture. Your email credentials are stored securely on your device and never leave it except to send your emails.
PingMe hands your message to the relevant app on your phone with the text pre-filled — you just choose the contact and hit send. The app you selected must be installed for that option to work.
The daily digest is an optional notification that reminds you of the captures you made that day, at a time you choose in Settings. It works entirely on your device.
Add the PingMe widget from your device's widget picker (long-press the home screen). The widget shows your latest capture and gives you one-tap access to start a new one.
All captures are stored only on your device. PingMe has no accounts, no cloud storage, and no analytics. Uninstalling the app deletes your capture history.
Yes — tap the photo button when composing a capture to attach an image from your gallery, then share it to your chosen destination.
