This privacy policy explains how Photo Vault: Private Album ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. The App is developed and operated by Christopher Rutledge.
The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data remains on your device at all times.
When you import a photo into the App, a copy is saved to the App's private storage on your device. This private storage is not accessible to other apps. The original photo in your gallery is not deleted or modified.
The App requests access to your device's photo library solely to allow you to choose which photos to import. No photos are uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
The App uses a PIN to protect access to your vault. The PIN is stored only on your device as a cryptographic hash (SHA-256). It is never transmitted or stored anywhere else.
All data created by the App โ including imported photos, album names, and settings โ is stored exclusively on your device. There is no cloud sync, no account system, and no remote server involved.
The App does not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs that collect personal data.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
